The year 2022 brought in a major transformation for Reactore (“Company”) – where the Company began evolving to the next level of doing business, especially with their proprietary Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP), Devum®.

With mining research at its core, MineOne® is a modular pit-to-port enterprise grade mining software to improve productivity and safety. Reactore has a decade’s experience in transforming mines across the world. This rebranding is not just a random tinkering of their logo and brand colours – it is much larger than that.

The new Reactore logo as presented below is a visual identity that is elegant, and sophisticated yet simple, modern, and accessible. The visual motif/brand identity mark, the red neural orb of the React‘O’re, pays homage to the brand’s history and roots in research and software product development, as well as resonates our ability to offer software solutions for all industries across the globe, with Devum®. The red neural orb represents a digital neural network signifying a network of artificial neurons programmed in software. Emulating a biological brain, it symbolises a robust, layered technology, which offers greater agility, flexibility, scalability, and accuracy, resembling our engineering minds and products. The neural network connotes balance, structure, organisation, and limitless capabilities of Reactore and its offerings to keep learning and maturing to subsequent levels. The logo is ornamented by two ‘+’ motifs, indicating two of our key products, MineOne® and Devum® – radiating energy or dazzle of Reactorians and Reactore respectively.

There have been many debates on using a dedicated configuration server against having a config file for managing the configurations. One of the main argument against configuration servers is, having to manage additional application for just storing the configurations. This makes sense in smaller applications. However, one of the biggest challenges in a distributed environment with multiple applications is the difficulty to manage the configurations. In these scenarios, a configuration server/manager has very important role to play.

This vibrant colour palette controls the look, feel, dimension, legibility, readability, direction, harmony, and kinetic energy of the Reactore brand.
