A range of mobile apps designed to complement, enhance and extend the operational management features emanating from the MineOne® application. The apps allow for real-time exchange of information between command centres and users in the field in order to optimise operations. The suite of app has features for all levels of users, ranging from equipment operators to specialised roles and management.

Real-time data to and from the field

Operators can receive shift instructions and alerts in the field issued from shift supervisors or the command centre. This results in a far more agile and informed management and workforce team, without the need to be in a structured office environment.

Purpose built features for specialised functions

The application allows for specialist functions to be completed in the field such as maintenance checks, drilling and blasting thus significantly reducing the information processing cycles for these activities. The purpose built features have been designed to consider the mining specific technical and operational requirements for these specialised roles.

Remote performance tracking

Management can conveniently track operational performance, in real-time, from a day, week, month or year to date perspective with a personal mobile device. Shift managers can track individual activity progress and receive real-time notifications on a rugged tablet device.

App Configuration and Distribution of Information

The application is configured according to the user role. Shift and activity data is distributed to mobile device application. The information displayed is determined by the system permissions allocated to the user role.

Capturing of Data in the Field

Field workers and management can capture details of their work or incidental ad hoc data in the field. Operators will have a specially deployed rugged device fitted in the cab of their equipment. The data captured in the field is transmitted to the application server.

Workflow and Reporting

Process intensive activities are managed with mobile app features incorporated into the operational and system workflow. Real-time alerts and submission of app prompted data play a key role in this. Operational performance data is also available for management from the mobile app.

Common Use Cases

Equipment Operators

Specialised IP rated mobile devices can be fitted to vehicles and equipment. Real-time shift instructions and operational feedback are automatically distributed to operators as they perform their activities in the field. Operators can also interface with the application, when required, to relay data back to the control room.

Specialist Users

Engineering teams and blast technicians use the application to perform their respective duties with features specifically designed to meet their functional requirements. Users have access to valuable, on demand, data and are able to capture all types of data in the field, as required.

Supervisors and Management

Field supervisors and foreman have access to, ongoing, real-time production data and operational status whilst in the field. Senior management can track on the go, real-time, production performance and statistics from their personal device.
